The path taken by Tama Kossman to her current choice of self-expression has wound through several different art forms.  Following her first career in professional dance led to achievement in the areas of performing, choreography and teaching.  She later added musical theatre, acting and then parenting to her resume.

In a parent/child ceramics class Tama discovered not only a new outlet for her creative energies, but a passion for art and design as well.  She completed the three-year full time program at Central Technical School’s Art Centre and has continued to explore the world of visual art since her graduation.

With Tama’s background in dance, it is not surprising that her work reveals her fascination with line, form and movement.  She enjoys the challenge of capturing the strength of these elements in painting, sculpture and ceramic art.
